Designs for birthday parties.

Each picture is the real print file. Every word on it is yours to change.

When to send them

Three to four weeks before the party; six weeks for a milestone like a 50th or 80th, or when guests travel. For a surprise party, mail early and say so on the card.

What to write

Whose birthday (and which one, if they don’t mind), the date and time, the place, how to RSVP. For a surprise, add “It’s a surprise!” and an RSVP that isn’t the guest of honor’s phone.

Sample wording you can copy

  • You’re invited · Margaret turns 80 · Saturday, March 6 at seven o’clock · The Alder Room
  • Shh, it’s a surprise! · Join us for David’s 50th · Friday, October 1 at 6:30
  • Come celebrate Leo’s birthday · Sunday, June 6 at noon · Pizza and cake in the yard

How it works.

  1. Make it yours

Type the details. The card redraws as you type, exactly as we will print it.

  2. Add your guests

Type them in or upload a spreadsheet. Each card goes to its own address.

  3. We mail them

We print, add the postage and mail each card First-Class, flat like a postcard.

Questions.

How far ahead should birthday invitations go out?

Three to four weeks for most parties, about six weeks for a milestone or a party people travel to.

How do the cards arrive?

Flat, like a postcard, full color on both sides. The guest’s address and the postage are printed on the back, so there is nothing to stuff, seal or stamp. Your message goes on the back too.

Your guests are waiting to hear.

Design it in an evening. We’ll take it from here.
