When to send them
Four to six weeks before the shower. Most showers are held four to eight weeks before the due date, so invitations often go out around the seventh month.
What to write
Who it honors, the date and time, the place, who is hosting, and how to RSVP. If there is a registry, a short line with the store or website is fine.

Who sends baby shower invitations?
Usually the host: a friend, a sister, a co-worker. The card can say “Hosted by” with their names.
Can each invitation have the guest’s name on it?
Yes. Upload your list with a name column and write Dear {{first_name}}, in the message; each card greets its own guest.
How do the cards arrive?
Flat, like a postcard, full color on both sides. The guest’s address and the postage are printed on the back, so there is nothing to stuff, seal or stamp. Your message goes on the back too.
